Assistant Aquatics Director This is a full-time 40 hour per week Staff Association Level II position reporting directly to the Aquatics Director. The Assistant Aquatics Director will assist with the responsibility for the entire operation of the Agency’s indoor and outdoor pools and all aquatics programming. The Assistant Aquatics Director will be the Head Coach of the swim team, be directly responsible for lifeguards and scheduling, and assist with learn to swim program. Aquatics Director This is a full-time 40 hour per week position reporting directly to the Health and Fitness Director. The Aquatics Director will be responsible for the entire operation of the Agency’s indoor and outdoor pools and all aquatics programming. The Aquatics Director will take responsibility to provide excellent service at all times. This is a Staff Association Level II position. Position Responsibilities -Hire, train, schedule, supervise full & part-time staff for both indoor and outdoor pools -Develop, implement, schedule and promote all programs, including swim lessons, competitive swim opportunities, and recreational activities -Oversee age-group swim team; effectively manage swim coach and all aspects of swim team administration including, but not limited to: organizing swim meets, ensuring fees and dues are paid, ordering equipment and uniforms, organizing swim team functions such as parties and banquets -Direct service responsibilities: instruct swim lessons and serve as lifeguard -Prepare and monitor Aquatics Department budgets. Fitness Director The Striar JCC is seeking a Fitness Director for our multi-service health and fitness facility serving communities in the southern suburbs of Greater Boston. This is a full-time 40-hour per week Staff Association Level II position. Setup membership auto-charge and EFT payment plans. Process membership and class registration adjustments. Review and process afterschool and summer camp enrollment contracts and adjustments. Review and process refund requests. Monthly Renewal Billing: Run renewal reports and review with membership department; process renewal adjustments and deletions. Monitor Declined Payments: Run declined payment reports; send out notification of decline, and update decline log. Work with membership department to resolve payment issues. General Office Duties: Distribute mail to appropriate departments, prepare deposit tickets for incoming checks.
